Sunny Day is 10 km northeast of Varna in the vicinity of the St.Konstantin and Elena Resorts, and is only 10 km away from Varna Airport. Golden Sands is another beautiful resort which is situated to its north. It is a luxury resort with four elegant hotels on the beach standing in large subtropical gardens.
Sunny Day occupies a sheltered and quiet bay with a natural park, clean sparkling sea and one kilometre beach covered with quartz sand. You can sunbathe from May to October with the average temperature during the summer months reaching 25-27 C and a water temperature of 24 C.
The beautiful natural surroundings and modern balneological centers make it an excellent place for relaxation. There are two modern spa and leisure centers which offer over one hundred different kinds of medical and beauty treatments including mud therapy, aromatherapy, reflex and laser therapy, medical cosmetics, body shaping and sauna.
The Sunny Day resort is a member of the Bulgarian Blue Flag Movement and was winner of the Blue Fag International Ecological Award in 1996.
Sports and recreation facilities here are excellent with two indoor and three outdoor swiming pools, a marina, water sports including windsurfing, water skiing, jetski and sailing. There are six retaurants which serve a wide range of Bulgarian and European cuisine and seafood specialities.
