The beautiful and historic city of Sofia offers a wide range of hotel accommodation. You can choose from the luxurious five star establishments, cheaper local hotels or budget hostels. Prices tend to get more expensive the closer you get to the city centre but they are still relatively cheap compared to UK prices.

If you reserve a hotel on the outskirts of town you will get the benefit of staying in a quiet location, and as the public transport system in Sofia is very efficient and it is easy to get around using buses, taxis, trams or the metro you will not find yourself too cut off from the city centre.
