Dobrich is known as the capital of Golden Dobroudzha, can be found in the heart of the Dobroudzha Plateau and has a total of about 104.000 inhabitants, which makes it the largest city in southern Dobruja. The city of Varna is just 51 km away and the border to Romania is 37 km to the north-west. The public transportation system in Dobrich is excellent.
