Belgoradchik is situated in the north west of Bulgaria. There are no universities in the town itself and the region that surrounds it. The closest universities are: the one in Pleven (High Medical Institute - Pleven), which is approximately 192 km to the east (or 2h30 driving time) and the ones in Sofia, which is located in about the same distance to the south east.
