The stunning new Bansko Golf course is situated at the foot of the Pirin Mountains in the heart of the Razlog valley.
Ian Woosnam, who has won over 44 prestigious tournaments during his career, has designed this facility. Ian Said "I am extremely excited about this opportunity. Golf is in its early stages of development in Bulgaria and I am keen to be involved in helping develop the sport in the country. We aim to create world class facilities which will promote the game of golf and tourism in general. The backdrop to the Bansko site is spectacular and with the snow covered mountain slops, mature pine trees and streams I envisage a rugged mountain look to the course."
The 18 hole course is on a primarily untouched 300 acre site with undulating greens and extremely challenging water hazards. It is a wonderful place to play golf and spend a holiday.
